Make a Difference in the World! No one will save us from the climate crisis but ourselves. Taking Action is the most important step, but often the overall climate crisis feels overwhelming and too big to dive into. Individuals can feel as if their personal actions cannot make a difference. But the reality is that they can, and they must, or the future for humanity is dire, -immediately for the most vulnerable and underrepresented: the poor, people of color, and particularly the world’s youth and future generations. The term “predatory delay”, coined by Alex Steffen, generally describes how our failure to take action, i.e., to delay, – preys upon these younger and next generations. This CCSS website portal and links are intended to help concerned individuals, entities, business and others make a difference. Taking personal action to live sustainably can make a big difference, – but simply engaging a wider audience with discussing climate solutions can help move the needle on social and political action at the scale and speed necessary. Make a difference where you already stand, and you can make a difference in the world
